Britney A. Alfred is a dynamic writer, producer, creative director, and entrepreneur from Albany, GA. A graduate of Dougherty Comprehensive High School and Alabama State University with a BA in Theatre Arts, Britney's career has spanned multiple creative industries. She began her journey as an independent contractor, touring internationally on cruise ships post-undergrad, before founding the Southwest Georgia Creatives Network, a multimedia production company dedicated to promoting  creativity and collaboration in the region.

Also known by her pen name Lyrically True, Britney is an independent artist and poet whose work delves into themes of social injustice and the human condition. Through her powerful voice, she amplifies the stories of generations who were never able to express themselves.

In addition to her entrepreneurial pursuits, Britney serves as a board member of the Albany Cares Group, where she works to bridge the gap between the creative arts and community development.
