Arnedi J.  Parker "Aj"

Mental Health Navigator

Arnedi J. Parker, affectionately known as AJ, is a dedicated community advocate in Albany, Georgia, who has been passionately serving her community since the 1980s. Her early volunteer work includes involvement with the Albany Support Group for AIDS, Albany Rape Crisis, and the Victim Unit, where she played a vital role in supporting vulnerable populations.

A graduate of Albany Technical College in the 1990s with a degree in Marketing Management, AJ also worked as a constitution forklift operator at Procter & Gamble. She extended her impact through Albany Literacy, where she taught adults to read by empowering individuals with the gift of literacy.

Currently, AJ is actively involved in homeless outreach programs demonstrating exceptional leadership in raising awareness about mental health. She volunteers with organizations such as Feeding the Valley to address food insecurity and community needs.

Additionally, she offers guidance and support to individuals struggling with substance abuse, helping them find pathways to recovery.

A passionate advocate for the arts and creativity, AJ is a lover of all music genres and works tirelessly to inspire and uplift her community through her dedication to service and the transformative power of the arts.
